Please, Pardon Our Dust
We’d like to start by expressing our gratitude for your patience as GetThru has undergone a substantial update in recent months. You may have noticed some of the obvious visual changes but it’s important to know these changes were not purely aesthetic. Rather, those were only part of a system-wide update to the GetThru platform. We know that the road bumps experienced by some of our clients recently can throw a wrench in your day and wanted to take this opportunity to appreciate those who reported and helped us to diagnose those issues (Huge shoutout to Nathan @ NNU!) and connect the importance of that work to the future we envision for GetThru tools.
What’s This Mean For Me?
The GetThru platform has been updated to incorporate new technologies that will allow our products to be more performant and our team to more easily maintain them going forward. Long term, this means faster everything, from page loading to security and bug fixes. This collection of updates will also enable GetThru to be more responsive and flexible to grow with the needs of our clients well into the future.
Today, the benefits of these improvements are primarily behind-the-scenes however these updates have laid the foundations for a litany of future features such as:
Increased Group and Campaign size limits.
More flexible user permission controls.
Increased reporting options with finer details.
Account-level texting/calling limits.
More interactive + richer scripts.
And much, much more.
We’re excited to preview the next major feature release, enabled by this work, coming soon to ThruText: MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). Many of our clients have long requested the ability to send media along with their texts and, starting in late Summer, you’ll be able to do just that. By inserting images or GIFs into your messages you’ll be able to connect with your audience in new and engaging ways. We will begin reaching out to Beta Tester clients in the next few weeks, let us know if you’re interested!
Stay tuned for additional updates on the rollout plan for MMS, including dates and pricing details.
Changes to Exports
In preparation for the upcoming release of MMS, as well as per-segment pricing for select clients (if you’re interested in per-segment pricing give our Sales Team a buzz!), we have released changes to the Usage Analytics page and several exports to incorporate data on MMS usage and message segmentation. All the data you’re accustomed to seeing in your reports will remain the same, we’ve just added some new columns like MMS and Segment counts to your Campaigns and Messages exports. You can find more details on the specific changes and affected exports in our Help Center.
