With this year’s election behind us and Giving Tuesday and the holidays ahead, here are just a few quick updates from the GetThru Team.
Your Feedback is Important
The work to improve ThruTalk and ThruText continues as we look ahead toward next year’s important elections and giving days. The most valuable information to guide that effort is your feedback. It helps us decide what features and experiences to prioritize in the coming year. Please take a few minutes to answer our short survey.
Improved Character + Segment Counting
We’ve released significant improvements this week to the character and segment counters in the Initial Message creation step of the ThruText Campaign builder to help you better understand how segmentation can affect a message’s deliverability and, if you’re on our per-segment pricing, the cost of your messaging as you write it. You can find more information on these new features here.
Adjusted Holiday Support Hours
Our Support Team will be unavailable to respond to tickets and chats or manage dial pacing in observance of the following holidays:
Thanksgiving - Thursday, November 23rd
Christmas Weekend - Saturday, December 23rd thru Monday, December 25th
New Year’s Eve + Day - Sunday, December 31st thru Monday, January 1st
The Support Team will observe adjusted hours on the following days:
Friday, November 24th - 11-7pm ET.
Winter Break - Tuesday, December 26th thru Friday, December 29th - 11-7pm ET.
The Support Team will respond to requests received during holidays or outside adjusted hours as quickly as possible at the next available opportunity.
Getting Ready for Giving Tuesday
If you are an educational institution preparing for this year’s Giving Tuesday we are recommending that all our education clients engaging in fundraising messaging do so using their approved Charity use case. If you don’t already have an approved Charity use case on your 10DLC Brand & Use Case Registration page, reach out to our Support Team to enquire about getting one approved ahead of your planned Giving Tuesday traffic.
