Exporting your Group
When you upload a group into GetThru, our system automatically checks if the phone numbers you sent belong to cell phones, landline, or VOIP, and the Opt Out and Do Not Call status for each phone number.
- For ThruText, you will have columns for the validation results and opt out status of each phone number. The landlines, VOIP, and other non-textable numbers are marked "invalid" under the phone number "thru_text_status" column.
- For ThruTalk, you will have columns for the validation results and DNC status of each phone number. The landlines, VOIP, and other non-textable numbers are marked "valid" under the phone number "thru_talk_status" column.
To see more detailed information about why your numbers are invalid for either ThruText or ThruTalk, you can export the group directly from the group page by clicking the "Export" button in the top right:
The group export will provide a CSV file that includes the following:
- The first and last names and phone number of each contact you attempted to upload.
- Each contact’s valid or invalid status for ThruText and/or ThruTalk, with the reason if marked invalid.
- Each contact’s opt-out and do-not-call status within the account. Opted out and/or DNC numbers will have a status of "TRUE" based on the status at the time of upload.
NOTE - Occasionally, mobile numbers will be listed as "invalid" because carriers report that these numbers have been disconnected from text messaging services.
For more detailed information about what is included in different exports, check out our article on Export Types.
