Checking VAN Key Set Up and Functionality


All of your ThruTalk and ThruText VAN keys are visible on the VAN Integrations Overview page.

What info is shown?

Each key has its own line for quick reference with the following information:

  • Tool - GetThru Product
  • Committee Side - MyVoters or EveryAction/MyCampaign
  • Key Reference - Last 4 digits of the key
  • Status - Is the key Valid or Invalid?

Each key can be clicked on to open the VAN Integration Details page, which has more in-depth information about the key.


Adding new keys

If there are less than 4 keys, the "New VAN Integration" button at the top of the screen can be used to enter the VAN Integration Wizard.

If there are 4 keys, the "New VAN Integration" button at the top of the screen is greyed out and cannot be clicked. To add a new key, please delete an existing key.

Deleting and editing keys

To delete a VAN key from the VAN Integration Overview page, open the flyout menu by clicking the three vertical dots on the far right and then selecting "Delete." This will remove the key entirely from the system.

To edit a key, click the three vertical dots and select "Edit." This will bring you to the VAN Key Edit page.
