How GetThru Adds Notifications to Your GetThru Pages

The GetThru team has added a few different types of notifications within getthru.app. Some pop up to let you know of new features in ThruText or ThruTalk, while some are clickable and contain information about tiny changes with links to documentation.

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Lower left corner slideout notifications

Animated notifications from the lower left corner have important information about upcoming feature releases and updates, deadlines, and self-guided training offers. If you want to see a slideout again, you can always click on the 'bell' icon at the top right of the screen.

Banners

Banners contain the most critical information and are used infrequently. They slide down from the top of the screen and contain information about immediate changes to your account's settings, information about your regulation status (e.g., ThruTalk Integrity Status), or significant changes to the texting and calling environments industry-wide.

Center pop-ups

Center pop-ups are used in conjunction with other notifications. For example, a center pop-up will be shown to collect information needed for a regulatory change, or it could be shown as part of a training module.

Pins

Small circles with question marks inside of them are called "Pins." When clicked, they open to provide information about small changes to the page, like the addition of new analytics or the expected behavior of an old feature.

1-10 score at the bottom of the screen

These scores let us know how we are doing and are a great way to provide feedback to our team. If you see one, we would appreciate it if you filled it out!

Emails

Sometimes, our system sends emails to follow up about actions taken within www.getthru.app. The senders originate from "@getthru.mail.appcues.com" and, for example, notify that an additional set-up step is needed in your account. They can also contain requests for feedback from our leadership team.

If you're unsure if an email from GetThru is legitimate, please reach out to [email protected].
